Sen. Bill Frist, R-Tenn and Senate Majority Leader, is now officially a MORON. Joining him is Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, R-Colo, who has proposed a Constitutional Amendment against gay marriages, and Frist is endorsing it. PLEASE write these people, and your own Congressmen/Representitives, and let them know your views about this. This IS a government BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, but YOU have to step up to the plate! They're not gonna ASK you for your opinion!
The great Katherine Hepburn passed away Sunday at the age of 96.
California, the nation's most populous state and home to one of the world's largest economies, is facing fiscal disaster. If the state government can't come to an agreement on the budget within HOURS, many state services such as community colleges and services for the poor and elderly will be severely cut. $38 billion dollar debt. I can't even imagine that kind of money. All I want to do is go to college and get my degree, but if the state government can't agree on a budget, I won't be able to do it.

The Red Sox set an MLB world record tonight - "Boston scored 10 runs against the Marlins without recording an out in the first inning to set a Major League record. The 14 runs tied an AL record for most runs in the first. Manny Ramirez (above) hit a three-run homer. Johnny Damon tied an MLB record with three hits in the first. He needs a homer for the cycle." (MLB.com)
