OK, THIS just seems to me to be very callous and uncaring of Military lives, especially in light of the article right below it - "Soldier dies of wounds". This is a VERY easy thing to say when it's not YOUR hide on the front lines!
Wow... they're dropping like flies! Jazz flutist Herbie Mann died today. Beginning of a new trifecta, or part of a rare quatro?

Canada has yet another reason to celebrate today! Of course, this is going to piss off the Koreas, but they were pissed at us already.... and it shouldn't come as much of a surprise, considering the World Cup committee had issues with Korea hosting due to their dog-eating habits.
If you're in need of a good laugh, this is a good place to go! This site makes me laugh 'till I have tears streaming down my face... and it's all in good fun.

OH CANADA!
Okay, so sue me - I'm late! It's Canada Day after all, and even though I'm not Canadian, I was still slacking in honour (see how I spelled that??) of our Canadian cousins. So TAKE OFF, eh? :-D

Buddy Hackett has passed away at the age of 78. Thus completes the trifecta of celebrity deaths (Thurmond, Hepburn, and now, Hackett).
